Break your mama's back. Though I don't think Kara and Anna have heard this mantra before, they surely follow it. We hang out outside quite a bit, and they like to pace the sidewalk, wave to cars, people, and dogs. The first time they paced the sidewalk Anna made sure to bend over, touch the ground and carefully step over each crack before continuing her march. Kara started copying her the next day. It's hilarious. I think it's because they feel like they can't walk on grass, and the cracks in our sidewalk are filled with it.
Other new tricks of note:
-Anna is very into trading toys with Kara. It's really sneaky, actually. They both tend to get upset if the other has something they want. Instead of fighting for the prized toy, Anna will take something else that I give her, and if she deems it cool enough (not just anything will do), will nonchalantly hand it to Kara and take the toy Kara has. Kara hasn't caught on to this yet.
-Kara is going through a temper tantrum stage...already. If you take what she wants, make her do something she doesn't want to, etc., she'll arch her back, scream bloody murder, and has lately started hitting as well. This must be stopped.
Anna, Kara on Father's Day - these are the pictures I was thinking of when I added the 3rd answer to the poll at right. I was swinging them around in the hotel chair before we left. Anna loved it, and is in the middle of signing "more" and saying a variation of "doot" in the 2nd picture. Suggestions for more signs to teach them? They know more, please, and all done. I personally don't know any more (though I can look them up easily enough), and these seemed like the most important ones I could think of.

Well, I would have said that Kara is in the green britches in the top picture and in the pink britches in the bottom one, but I guess you didn't change their clothes between pictures. I give up! No no no--I'll keep trying!
