Don't We Look Smart?

Haha. Proving that wearing Yale shirts does not actually make you look smarter. These were taken first thing in the AM before the doctor's office...the girls do not officially wake up until after their morning nap, I don't think.

St. Louis

Getting ready to go look for somewhere to live on Friday-Monday. Yikes! Andrew takes any and every opportunity to put his Cardinals hat on the girls. He will force them into fanhood. Note that for all their love of "cute hat!" they don't like wearing actual hats at all. :)

Yay Dad!

Andrew has officially graduated - good work! Your girls are very proud of you.

Yesterday was a very hard day for me and the girls, since they took a nap at 8 and then not again until they were forced to sleep at 9:30 (we all tried to force them a lot of times before then, they finally caved at that point). It didn't help that the graduation ceremony was over 2 1/2 hours. All of us with kids spent the whole time in the hall; we did spend about 5 minutes in the auditorium and got to see Andrew walk. If Andrew's mom hadn't been such a big help I would never have made it! Thank you, Nana. At least about a dozen random people have pictures of the babies now. Everyone was taking their picture...at play and then especially when they were giving each other hugs and kisses on my lap a few times. Famous girls, I guess.

Heading Out

We're going to Cleveland in a few hours for the weekend, to celebrate Andrew's graduation and my brother Peter's birthday, relax, visit one more time before we move, and so I can clean out my room so that Peter can move in. 10 years later, I guess it's time. Pictures - we've had nice weather this past week and a half, finally, so we've been able to get out most every day. It's great!

Squirrel Friend

We live right next to the woods, so there's a lot of wildlife (Andrew and I saw a muskrat tapping on our window the other night). It's really fun seeing the girls being able to interact with that a bit now.

Loves

Oh, and some pokes. We have had more bites recently. Kara bites Anna kind of all the time now. She has big marks on her shoulder x2. I didn't take pictures because I'd prefer not to remember it for all time.

Holding Hands Like Best Friends

They'll reach for each other whenever you sing my holding hands song now...so sweet! And they love to - they get so happy.

July Girls in the Grass

We enjoyed some time over at the Dowells' this past weekend and the girls played in the grass for the first time with their July Fellowship Bible friends, Ryann and Selah. Kara looks a little unsure about her kiss from Selah!

My Goodness Do We Love Hats!

Kara has been doing it for a while, but now Anna has started too (Only 2 are Anna, can you tell which?). Anything and everything goes straight on the head, with the expectation being that we will say "Cute hat!" Kara has gone so far, as you can see, as to do this without anything in her hand. They respond maybe a little too well to positive reinforcement. :)

Haha, I was showing our friend Beka what they do and Andrew caught me!

I just missed them doing simultaneous bear hats!

I'll try to post every day, M.A.S., I've been having to work until like 8 and 5 days in a row, and we sometimes have things to do, too, if you can believe it. I just uploaded 85 pictures, so there's plenty to post.

The Report

Sisses have too much fun together!

Droopy face.........................................................................................OOOH

Doesn't she look like she's scheming?........................................Butt and gut shot

9 month appointment today...Anna-peanut is just about 19 lbs and Kara-chubbers is 19 lbs 10 oz. If you ask me, they're perfect - 50th percentile+ (which is always my hope and dream for them), but still small enough to fit in their infant car seats for our travels to STL in a couple weeks, so they can nap in there uninterrupted. Way to go! Other news in the Pierce household...Andrew graduates this week!!! (I'm supposed to let him use the computer to take a final...) and Anna's step count is up to FIVE in a row!!! I don't know which should get more exclamation points. :)

Dad...

is lucky that we don't know which way our clothes go, so smile anyway when he puts our clothes on backwards. (Anna almost 2 mos with a duck on her back, Kara almost 9 mos with a bear on her back). At least with Anna Andrew realized it was backwards and switched it. Kara was backwards all day. He asked me to put his defense - that this is "like a suit jacket." Then how come you were wondering why the bear was on the back, husband?

Babes in Blinds Part 1 - Sisses Together

Haha, Kara, is that nice?

So, when I start taking pictures I take a few too many usually, then decide I love them all. Hence 1 billion of them in the blinds. :)
