Avoidance

Too many Christmas pictures to even think about...we took ~150 with so much family around in Arkansas and so many pretty outfits. Help! In other blog news, any ideas for a new poll?

Getting Ready to Eat

Getting everyone used to the idea of something other than nursing in a few weeks...teething on pea pods (their first food!), in their feeding seats - Andrew's mom had some set up when we visited, and it made meal time much easier - wish we had thought of that a few months ago!

Baby Models

The 3rd pic is Kara showing off a new bracelet she got from her Great Aunt Kathy and Great Uncle Rick - thanks!

Pulling their own weight...

When we were traveling everyone kept telling us how pretty our babies are...so I've been telling them I'm going to start them as baby models, since at almost 6 months, it's about time they start earning their keep! (And they do happen to be pretty photogenic...A can always make them smile for the camera)

New Toys

A box counts as a toy, right? The book in the first pic makes me laugh because I call it their "bug" book, and Andrew calls it their "counting" book...just reminds me how our parenting styles differ, with his focus being on their learning things, and mine more on their enjoyment of those things.

Christmas in Ann Arbor

In Kristan's family everyone has a theme ornament and matching stocking, so we're doing the same for the girls. Kara is angels and Anna is snowmen. Kristan was bears. Amazingly, we had 3 sets of twin ornaments - Andrew and I each had the multi-colored bears growing up, and I think I ended up with my sister Sarah's skating bear. :)

Snow Snow Snow Snow...

These snow suits make me smile because they're how I told my mom we were having twins. She had my sister bring 2 up and we were supposed to pick. A couple of days later I called my mom and said, "Well, I guess we're going to need both snow suits!"

Being Best Sisses, as Usual

These are all ancient in baby time - from November. I spared you most of the Nov ones I haven't posted, but these were too funny to pass up! They beat up on each other pretty equally, which is nice to see. :)

Baby Faces - Kara

I can't help but think these are the cutest babies ever...but moms are entitled to think that. :)

Christmas

On Saturday I decorated the tree while A played with the girls and took a million pictures (seriously, this is less than 1/2). Mostly A and K just wanted to eat everything. Pictures in Christmas dresses by the tree coming...hopefully.

5 months old and Beauties in blue

By the way, I'm not labeling babies anymore - everyone got it right on my Dec 7th post poll, and if you can tell them apart in that picture, then I definitely don't need to label them!

Congrats to Dad

Tried to do a photo shoot with a little "congrats Dad" sign and some St. Louis stuff last week when he officially accepted the job. Not quite cooperative - they love playing too much. :)
