#1 is sister. They have been having a hard time getting back to sleep at night or when they wake up from naps before they mean to if they see their sister - they point, say something that is supposed to be "sister" and get really excited to play.
#2 is books. (Maybe mom? or mom and dad?) As you can see in this series (from Mother's Day, so kinda old), they fought over this book a lot, and that's usually how it goes with any book. I'm trying to teach them that if they want me to read them a book to bring it to me and sit with me...it's working pretty well, and happens a lot. Now if they could only understand the other key thing I try to teach them about books: if they bite/chew on them they'll end up with no book to read, it will be in their stomachs.

it's kinda nuts to see you as a mommy of two little girls. i still see you as the girl from TD who was a year behind me. how fun to see you as a mother!
