Sugar and Spice

What are little boys made of?
"Snaps and snails, and puppy-dogs' tails;
And that's what little boys are made of."
What are little girls made of?
"Sugar and spice, and all that's nice;
And that's what little girls are made of."

One of my new pet peeves (because I needed more) is people blogging about their little boys and saying "___ is such a boy!" You've got to be kidding me. Every time I read what makes their boy a "boy" it seems like it's something our girls do/like. I guess I just can't buy the gender stereotypes. If loving cars and trucks and lawnmowers and machines, running around and getting into stuff, getting dirty, putting things in their mouth, etc makes babies "boys" - then we have 2! Though they like their babies, they'd prefer to run around and throw balls and play with their hockey sticks. And I'm sure that boy babies have sweet moments just like our sweeties do.

This was earlier this week...a good example of how much more loving they've been with each other. They've been so into giving each other kisses!

I know what you're saying, but trust me...I have 2 girls and a boy and the boy...yeah. He's a boy.

I thought my first born was high-maintenance and into things and jumping off stuff...and she was. But her brother does all that plus more.

Hey, I finally got your gift card for Panera so I'll get it mailed to you sometime this week hopefully! Thanks again for entering my Bloggy Giveaways contest.

Your girls are adorable by the way.
