Matt, are any of these okay?

My brother Matt has questioned their signing ability. I don't stand by its greatness or anything (or necessarily the benefits/usefulness of it), but they do sign some. Here are my attempts to capture it. Matt, let me know if I need to try to get better clips - the babies and I are up to the challenge. I had a hard time with Kara because she was so sleepy, and/or wanted to grab the camera instead of let me film her. See here or here to compare their signs to what they're supposed to be. Haha, now that I look, I just realized I made up what they do for "all done." Not sure what the sign they do actually means. Another one I'm kind of working on is book - and I just now looked up and tried help. I'm bad because I only really keep doing ones with them that they get on the first couple tries. Longer than that and forget it - I'll just wait for them to say words.

I've been working with them to say "help" instead of crying/fussing when they get into trouble or get mad. It's been working decently, though I usually have to prompt them - "do you need help?" - then they say who knows what, but it kinda maybe sounds like help - it definitely cuts down on the fuss time per day.

This is the clearest one of them showing that they use the signs to mean something, instead of just knowing how to do them.

Kara came and sat on my lap. :) I like how Anna signs "more" at the end...she apparently wanted me to keep asking her to do things.

So, Kara is on the right...this is the best I got of her signing things, even though you can't really see either of them doing anything. :)

Clare says happy first birthday (a day early) to you both, Anna and Kara! We can't believe you are already one. You are both sweethearts! Hope you have a great birthday tomorrow. :)
