The angry faces of sisters with viruses (these are old pictures of angry faces for some other reason). :)
My dad ran into a pediatrician last night and he/she suggested that it sounded like classical roseola. So now I looked that up and that sounds more like it. Haha, I'm so easily convinced! I think I'm just desperate to know what's going on with my little sweetie. The doctor had mentioned something about a rash when we were leaving on Thurs...but it was post ear trauma so I couldn't remember if it was in the context of "bring her back if..." or "this might happen." And Andrew and I can't figure out why if she thought Anna would get a rash she wouldn't just tell us she thought it might be roseola so that we could know what was potentially going on and have some peace of mind. I guess she thought I wasn't smart enough to handle medical terms? I gotta say, I didn't like our old doctor, but she was way better than this one - she knew that we were educated and treated us as such, and deferred to me on diet - she said "I'm sure you know..." a lot. I'd also like to think it's roseola since that's way less trouble. My dad said to expect, and I've been waiting for, Kara to get it next week. There's no way I can think of that they're not going to share saliva. I just hope her fevers aren't as bad and don't cause convulsions...historically her fevers haven't affected her as much (they always get fevers after they get shots).

I am so sorry that Anna has been sick so many days. Maybe Kara will escape the virus by some miracle. It sounds like she has really been a sweetie this week. Roseola sounds logical and much better than scarlet fever. Hope Anna's fever stays down and that everyone is feeling well. Sorry the pediatrician was not much help--I can't believe she fussed at you for not holding Anna still when you had Kara--maybe a nurse could have helped?????
