They each needed to carry around 1/2 the enormous baguette we received as part of a meal...then Anna needed to get in the bag the meal came in, and Kara needed to smash a bug with her finger and show it to me. Any time a bug is smashed the girls immediately say "see" over and over until we show them (and Anna pretends to eat it). Yuck.
Kara and her swaddling magic. They love swaddling their babies. Kara's awesome hair (it IS starting to grow relatively fast) after a nap one day.
Anna really wanted to wear one of Andrew's shirts the other night, then of course Kara wanted to. Then while I tried to take pictures of them, they had me tackled on the floor and jumped on me over and over (hence the angle/Kara's head in the picture of Anna).
Not the best representation, but this is one of their (and my) favorite things - whenever they have a phone, or something that resembles a phone, they say "Hi Uncle Michael," and then whatever they're doing at the time. My favorite is "Hi Uncle Michael poopy diaper," followed a few minutes later by "Hi Uncle Michael clean diaper." :) And yes, Anna is talking on an ice cream scoop while she sits strapped into Alden's bouncy seat and tries to get Kara to talk on pliers, while Kara stands up and declares her need to "pee pee potty." I love watching them play.
