Random Thoughts on Terminology

So, obviously every minute I am acutely aware that Kara and Anna are in our lives.
However, the wording you use makes a big difference:

1. We have 2 kids? Our friend at church said something the other day about us having 2 kids and I was like, "Huh?" I guess we do, but I really think of them as 1 - 1 set. Since they're our first, I don't know any better - 1 set seems normal to me...and I've told Andrew a few times I think it would be boring to have 1 at a time - for the pregnancy and now.

1a. We have a big family? This follows with 1. above. 2 kids is a normal size family. But do we have 2 kids? :)

2. We have twins? Whenever we're out everyone says, "oh, are they twins?" Pretty dumb question...I don't know how else we'd have 2 babies of the same age... I say yes, BUT-I really don't think of them as twins, just as sisters (who I guess have the same birthday) - it helps that they don't look the same to me much at all.

Pictures: we have the first and one similar to the 2nd (pink though)
