Anna being sick. Yesterday morning she felt a little warm, by the middle of nap time she was on fire and when she woke up she was clearly not feeling well. Advil helped, as soon as that wore off she was back to feeling terrible - fever and chills. This morning same thing. At least there doesn't seem to be any lower GI involvement this time, and as long as we keep her dosed with Advil she does okay. Hoping it's just a delayed reaction to her vaccines the other day.
Yogurt cup shoes are clearly the new fashion trend. Andrew thinks that Anna looks like my brother Peter in this second picture.
Also not yet sick of their frequent accidents (Anna mainly) on the road to potty training success. I know that's all I've been blogging about lately, but with their determination to stay naked all the time and not great weather, that's what we've been doing - we missed a couple nice days, but thinking that will pay off when we don't have to miss any when spring/summer hit. They did a lot better yesterday - they actually both used the potty - and accidents happened en route to the potty or right after getting up from the potty. I think 2 at once might be a good thing - pretty sure Anna only peed on the potty out of sheer determination to once she heard that Kara was getting a sticker and she wasn't. Shenk competitiveness is ingrained, I guess - hearing that Anna might get down from her highchair before her made Kara finish her last few bites of food pretty quickly the other day. :)
Anna modeling their new princess underwear. I am all about fairness in blog picture time, but Kara would literally not keep hers on long enough for a picture. Anna won't keep hers on either, so naked it is for now. They ask to get naked and go potty as soon as they wake up (even though they pee in their diapers as soon as they wake up, too).
