mob mob

well, dad dad tells us that there's this country-wide event to honor mothers today, originally conceived of by someone in the methodist church and now propagated by greeting card and flower companies. we don't think we need an external reason to love mom (or mob as we used to call her, now we're enunciating mom more precisely) or give her wet kisses. we do it everyday because she takes very good care of us and makes us feel like we are great babies (which we usually are). she keeps our bellies filled and when we cry she alone makes us happy. mom, we know we make things difficult for you, but you are doing a great job of loving us and teaching us how to live, so far as we can tell. and we think we should know. now, if we could just get you to stay home with us everyday instead rotating in and out with this dad dad character...thanks, mom.
