It's Official

Anna and Kara can walk! Andrew and I just decided this morning. I had been hesitant to decree it, since I don't really know at what point to consider it "walking" vs. "taking steps" and I was sort of thinking that it should be all walking and no crawling before it was considered "walking." But, they definitely can walk, and taking as many steps as they need to get to their destination certainly seems to be walking. The last straw to me deciding it was okay to decree walking was Kara's 22 steps all the way across the living room this morning. They are pretty close to deciding to walk all the time - they've been "crawling" on hands and feet rather than their usual 1 knee/1 foot tactic, and Anna can now stand herself up from the ground. Very proud of you, girls!
Pictures are shots of them standing together from April (they've worn these overall outfits not quite as often as our pictures make it look like) - we still need to shoot some video of them walking.
