I love these...
The girls love looking out our front window, and lately out the kitchen window too. Anna decided that she should push a chair over so she could see out one day; I thought it was a good idea and we've done it just about every day since. The last couple weeks there have been a lot of birds and squirrels out the windows because we have some trees that still have leaves and berries. They can stand and watch forever, which is quite helpful to me.
PS - The girls are doing better with talking. Today they both said "no" (I know, not a great thing to teach them...Kara repeated me saying it and I encouraged them since they really don't say much), and "nanana" for Anna. Since their words aren't really all that distinct, generally (for instance, I called their PJs "jay jay jays" and they've repeated that), I haven't been anal about keeping a word count, but they do have a bunch of words. Finally! I try to get over it, but I'm competitive and so I kinda hate them being behind other kids in something, especially since they did all their motor stuff earlier than most.

woah they definitely look longer & leaner in these pix!
Anna and Kara are so beautifully busy! I love the Ring around the Rosie picture. Their stances just look so grown up. Having someone to share kiss clap hug run dance climb bite pretend observe remember with all the time must just be a remarkably socializing experience. Their reaction to the bubble bath is so funny--who would have thought they would be scared of bubbles. or love spiders!
