The nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco prevention program I write and teach the lessons for and coordinate got a write-up in the paper this week. The stellar Jackson, Michigan Citizen-Patriot. I was supposed to be photographed for the paper, too, but there was a snow day that day (incidentally, I drove the 45 miles to work anyway and slid off the exit ramp into a ditch - lots of excitement!). The article is not very well-written and it kinda takes the quotes out of context to make our program sound not great...but here it is anyway. Last spring the babies and I were on the Lansing news teaching a lesson about serving sizes and giving child obesity stats and on some local Jackson channel talking about the same stuff - luckily I don't think those are available online.

Congrats! That is great about your program and your recognition in the paper. :)
